One of the main goals of the Ljubljana Festival is the education of young artists. In addition to professional training, young talented creators are offered a wide range of tools and skills essential for building a successful career in the contemporary world. This opens up new opportunities and pathways that help them establish themselves in a competitive market.
In 2019 we organized our first masterclasses for both domestic and international students under the artistic direction of Branimir Slokar, one of the most prominent trombonists who brought about a historic shift in the field of classical music, a legacy still felt across the world today.
At his invitation his colleagues, outstanding musicians, soloists and professors at prestigious European music institutions, return to Ljubljana each year. As a result students benefit not only from working with the very best but also from excellent learning conditions.
All students of the Academy of Music at the University of Ljubljana are entitled to a 20% discount on the registration fee for this year’s Masterclasses.
