One of the leading pianists of her generation, Khatia Buniatishvili, appears with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Gudni Emilsson in an evening of virtuosity and expressive intensity.

Under the direction of Daniele Gatti, the Staatskapelle Dresden performs Mahler’s Symphony No. 6, one of the composer’s darkest and most uncompromising works.

The festival’s closing concert features a programme with works by Rautavaara, Bruch and Sibelius, performed by the Baltic Sea Philharmonic under Robert Treviño, with violinist Lana Trotovšek as soloist.
