Musical beginnings
of great journeys

From autumn to spring, the Ljubljana Festival holds the Young Virtuosi International Music Cycle, which provides an opportunity to educate young listeners and performers. This year, the cycle enters its thirty-second season, which means that the young musicians of past years are now seasoned masters. Over the past three decades, the stage of the Knights’ Hall has hosted performances by first-rate musicians such as Mate Bekavac, Andrej Žust, Eva Nina Kozmus, Karmen Pečar, Stjepan Hauser, Luka Šulić and Andraž Golob and many others. The concert cycle is dedicated to solo recitals and chamber works by young musicians, winners of multiple prizes and gold plaques at major national and international competitions.
