More information
“With his performances, lyrics and melodies, Vlado Kreslin is like a magical realist painter; everything is based on the real or the realistic, but composed and shaped into metaphors in which we discern both the local colour of his native Prekmurje region and personal moments shaped by experience or otherwise chosen.”
Marijan Zlobec, 2016
Vlado Kreslin is a musical and social phenomenon. After more than 40 years on Slovenia’s music scene, his lyrics are still fresh, relevant and insightful – increasingly so with every passing year. His voice improves with age, like a fine wine. And his moving performances continue to charm and enchant both young and old, regardless of gender, education, race or religion. A concert you simply have to experience, if you haven’t already. And if you have, you’ll want to again.
