A Rock spectacle to end the Summer!
For over 18 years, Hamo & Tribute 2 Love have thrilled audiences with energetic blues-rock concerts full of humor, tenderness, and sincerity. This year, they’re coming to Križanke with a brand-new big band sound that will elevate their music to a whole new level. The performance will also feature the premiere of songs from their upcoming album.
Interesting facts
- The nickname Hamo derives from a humorous misunderstanding when a Greek goldsmith, suspicious of Matevž Šalehar’s appearance, accidentally set off the alarm in his shop. This unfortunate occurrence led to the nickname “Hamas”, which later became “Hamo”. Over time, Hamo has become Matevž Šalehar’s always cheerful alter ego, while he himself prefers a little more privacy.
- The music of Hamo & Tribute 2 Love opens the door to new ideas and values and promotes social change.
- Hamo offers the audience a place where they can freely express their ideas without fear of being judged, while they give him the support that encourages him to create.

Hamo & Tribute 2 Love concerts are always a treat for blues rock enthusiasts. Fifty shows a year and seven albums over the course of a 20-year career in which there’s hardly a venue in the country they haven’t sold out and filled with smiles. Experiences that few home-grown artists can match.
