- entry of banners and flags
- any disruption of the performance

Svetlana Zakharova is a prima ballerina of the Bolshoi Ballet, famous for her flawless technique and deeply expressive interpretations. Following her training in St Petersburg, her rise to stardom included a notable debut at the Mariinsky Theatre and later engagements at the Bolshoi Theatre, the Paris Opera and other prestigious ballet theatres around the world. By pushing the boundaries of classical ballet and experimenting with contemporary works, she has developed a highly personal and diverse repertoire of dance pieces and performances. This year will be her third appearance at the summer festival in Ljubljana, where she will be joined by the Russian-born Belgian violinist Vadim Repin, her partner both in life and on the stage. Repin famously became the youngest winner of the violin section of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels at the age of just 17. Part concert, part dance recital, Pas de Deux for Toes and Fingers is the first project created jointly by the husband and wife team of Repin and Zakharova. The Romantic repertoire of the 19th century (Niccolò Paganini, Alexander Glazunov, Camille Saint-Saëns, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Pablo de Sarasate, Jules Massenet, Antonio Bazzini) will be complemented by the music of Argentinian tango innovator Astor Piazzolla, Italian composer Bruno Moretti and American film composer John Williams. Zakharova and Repin will be joined by soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre (Artemy Belyakov, Mikhail Lobukhin, Igor Tsvirko) and accompanied by Ljubljana’s own Ensemble Dissonance, one of the most important chamber groups in Slovenia and an irreplaceable instrumental ensemble at the Ljubljana Festival.

Ticket holders for events within the 73rd Ljubljana Festival are entitled to free rides on LPP city buses within two hours before the start and two hours after the end of each event.
