RTV Slovenia and the Ljubljana Festival are dedicating this year’s Summer Night concert to a celebration of the 60-year musical career of songwriter and performer Janez Bončina, better known as Benč. The traditional gala concert presenting the rich heritage of Slovene popular music, featuring a big revue orchestra and a starry line-up of guest singers, will offer new versions of some of Benč’s biggest hits: Ta noč je moja, Kadar ognji dogorijo, Maja z biseri, Ob šanku, Zlata obala, Nosila je rdečo rožo, V veri, da boš srečna, Ljubil bi se and Navali narod na gostilne, among others.
This unique musical journey in the company of Benč’s friends will be presented by Jurij Zrnec and Bernarda Žarn.
We would like to inform all ticket holders that the event has been rescheduled from Thursday, June 19, to Friday, June 20. If you have already purchased a ticket, there is no need to exchange it. If the new date does not suit you, you are entitled to a refund until February 11, 2025.
Free rides on LPP city buses
Ticket holders for events within the 73rd Ljubljana Festival are entitled to free rides on LPP city buses within two hours before the start and two hours after the end of each event.
Accessibility for visitors with reduced mobility
Festival Ljubljana is committed to ensuring a welcoming and accessible experience at cultural events for persons with reduced mobility.
Selected venues offer designated wheelchair-accessible spaces as well as seating for accompanying persons. Wheelchair users can inquire about availability and reserve accessible seating by calling +386 (0)1 241 60 28 or emailing blagajna@ljubljanafestival.si.
