Literary and musical recital

About the event

Ivana speaks – the harp resounds

This is a literary-musical recital – a quiet encounter of three women: Ivana Kobilca, actress Polona Vetrih, and harpist Mojca Zlobko Vajgl. Words and music intertwine in an intimate dialogue that reveals Kobilca’s inner world and opens a space for a distinctly female perspective on life. The harp, through selected passages and compositions by Debussy, Tournier, Godefroid, Glinka, Ramovš, Zlobko, and others, creates a soundscape of silence and resonance.
The recital is an invitation to listen to an inner echo that lingers.

More information

The performance is a concert narrative, a literary and musical recital conceived as a quiet meeting of three women – Ivana Kobilca, Polona Vetrih and Mojca Zlobko Vajgl. It is not a traditional interpretation, but rather a space where words and music listen and respond to each other. Polona Vetrih’s acted interpretation intertwines closely with the music of harpist Mojca Zlobko Vajgl. The programme is conceived as a dialogue between words and music that breathe together in an inward gaze, opening before the audience into sound. The harp in this evening is not merely a solo instrument, but a quiet interlocutor of the spoken word – at times a memory, at times an echo, at times a voice of its own. The program will feature works and selected musical fragments for harp by the following composers: A. Hasselmans, M. Tournier, M. M. Ponce, C. Debussy, L. van Beethoven, F. Godefroid, C. Salzedo, A. Durand, N. Zlobko, P. Ramovš, and M. Ravel.

The recital is an invitation to an inner sound that lingers.
