Virgile Roche is one of the most versatile pianists of today's young European scene. Admitted at the age of 17 to the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance, he recieved a total of eight degrees: Piano (under M.-J. Jude, J. Vitaud and E. Strosser), Chamber Music, Collaborative Piano, Lied, Harmony, Counterpoint, Composition and Orchestration. In September 2024, he joined the institution’s highly selective Artist Diploma postgraduate programme. From 2022 to 2025, he was an Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium, studying under the guidance of F. Braley and A. Kouyoumdjian. He has taken part in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as N. Goerner, B. Chamayou and M. Béroff, as well as chamber musicians such as H. Beyerle, P. Jüdt and J. Meissl. He performs regularly at major international festivals and venues in Europe and abroad (USA, Japan, UAE, Australia...). In 2026, he is scheduled to perform Béla Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3 for the first time with the Orchestra of the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance.
