Seunghwan Severino Kim began studying the piano at the age of 12 under the guidance of J. Ahn and A. Boainain. After graduating from Sunhwa Arts High School in South Korea, he pursued his bachelor’s degree in piano at the Berlin University of the Arts under L. Grossmann. He continued his studies at the University of Music Luebeck with K. Eickhorst, earning his master’s degree. Since 2023 he has been studying with I. Dannhorn, E. Yarden and D. Stadler for the concert exam , the highest degree at the Trossingen University of Music in Germany. Additionally, he has also been studying with M. Chernyavska at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. He has received invitations to perform in solo and chamber music concerts, particularly in Germany, South Korea and Italy, in cities such as Berlin, Dresden, Brescia, Venice, Seoul and Krakow. Throughout his studies, Seunghwan has participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists, including E. Leonskaja, K. Eickhorst, G. Mishory, A. Siirala, E. Pace, B. Petrushansky, A. Boainain, and V. Sverdlov-Ashkenazy.
