Matteo Bortolazzi, 19, is a student of Professor Epifanio Comis. At the age of 12 he performed Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concert No. 12 in A major, K414, obtaining registration in the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in ARI Padova Roll of Honor. He has performed as part of various musical reviews. In December 2021 he performed for the Frédéric Chopin Association at the Salle Molière in Lyon. He has won awards at several national and international competitions, including  the 1st Absolute Prize at the XXIV International Piano Competition "Giulio Rospigliosi" in Lamporecchio, the XXXIII National Piano Competition J.S. Bach of Sestri Levante, the VI City of San Donà di Piave International Piano Competition, and the 2021 International Competition for Young Pianists “Merci, Maestro!”. In September 2022 he won the 1st Prize at the Italian National Arts Award – XVI edizione in the under-16 category. In August 2023 he reached the 1st Round of the Final Stages at the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition. In March 2025 he won the 1st Prize at the piano competition for scholarships from the Vincenzo Bellini Foundation, founded by Grazia Marletta.
