Praised for his artistry, exceptional refinement and dazzling virtuosity, the pianist Hyun-Gyu Ji has performed across Asia, Europe, and North America. Ji is a prizewinner of numerous national and international competitions, and has performed at the Verbier Cinema at the Verbier Festival, PepsiCo Recital Hall at Texas Christian University, the Chamber Hall of the Warsaw Philharmonic, Jordan Hall and Williams Hall at the New England Conservatory, the Industrial Bank of Korea Chamber Hall and the Recital Hall of the Seoul Arts Center, Gyeonggi Arts Center Concert Hall, Gyeonggi Arts Center Concert Hall, and Concert Hall of Bucheon Arts Center. He graduated from the Korea National University of Arts, where he studied with Minsoo Sohn and received the Director’s Award. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the New England Conservatory under the guidance of Wha Kyung Byun.
