Born in South Korea in 1998, the pianist Heeseong Noh began his musical journey at the age of 11, and was immediately distinguished by winning 1st prize in a national competition. He later earned his bachelor’s degree at Seoul National University, where he was awarded the department’s sole full scholarship in recognition of his outstanding talent. Since 2021, he has been studying at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, completing his master’s degree with highest honours and continuing in the postgraduate programme under the guidance of Pavel Gililov. His most notable achievement in recent years is becoming a prize winner at the Long–Thibaud–Crespin Competition in 2022, where he also received the H.S.H. Albert II of Monaco prize, earning him international recognition. He has performed at venues such as Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Seoul Arts Center, Daegu Concert House, and Suwon SK Artrium, and collaborated with orchestras including the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Gunpo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and Daegu Philharmonic Orchestra. His European career is also growing, highlighted by his debut in Paris.
