Goce Zlatev was born in 2006 in Stip, North Macedonia. He is a 19-year old pianist who comes from a musical family from Sveti Nikole. He started studying piano at the age of eight in the music school in Stip, in the class of G. Kostadinov, and in 2017 started studying at the Ilija Nikolovski – Luj Music and Ballet Centre (DMBUC) in Skopje in the class of Dr S. Micovska-Smilevska. He is now is studying at the Academy for Music of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia with R. Dalibaltayan. During his music education he has participated in several national and international competitions. He gave his first recital in 2019, at the age of 13, in Skopje. In 2019 he performed at two concerts in Paris, France at the invitation of C. Stigliani, the Director of Philomuses, an organisation for the promotion and affirmation of young talents, at an event organised by the Mayor of Paris. He gave solo recitals again in Paris and Vienna last year, as well as a recital in Rome. He has played three times with the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Republic of North Macedonia. While studying, he works to continuously upgrade his education in cooperation with his eminent professors, including J. Zaharieva, S. Trpčeski, S. Gadijev, M. Gjoshkevska, C. Stigliani, L. Zilberstein and E. Heidsieck.
