Alberto Ferro studied with Professor E. Comis at the Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini in Catania. One of the most significant endorsements of his artistry came from legendary pianist and conductor V. Ashkenazy, who praised Alberto for his ability to “play not only with the head, but also with the heart”. He has performed many concerts throughout Europe, including at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, Warsaw Philharmonic, Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, Hercules Hall in Munich, Bozar in Brussels, Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Concert Hall in Stuttgart, Gewandhaus in Leipzig, Mastersingers’ Hall in Nürnberg, Charles Bronfman Auditorium at the Tel Aviv Culture Center, TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, Rudolf Oetker Hall in Bielefeld, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Philharmonie Luxembourg, the Concertgebouw in Bruges, and Festspielhaus Erl. Festival and association appearances have included those at the Copenhagen Summer Festival, Bologna Festival, Kissinger Sommer – International Music Festival, Beethovenfest Bonn, Piano aux Jacobins, and Villa Musica Rheinland-Pfalz. He has performed with orchestras such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Belgian National Orchestra, the Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra, Teatro La Fenice Orchestra, and Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, under renowned conductors.
