Yi-Chung Huang is a Taiwanese pianist and composer, born in 2002 in the city of Hsinchu. From an early age he showed great interest in music, often improvising on the piano. At eight years of age he began to receive formal music education in Taiwan, and since then has attended masterclasses by pianists such as E. Indjic, N. Trull, N. Krieger, W. Manz, I. Scheps, J. Katsnelson, E. Delgado, T. Ungár, and K. M. Engel, among many others. Huang participated in the Euro Music Festival and Academy in 2017 and 2018. At 17 years old, he began to study in the Hannover Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien, with R. Krüger. Beyond piano performance, Yi-Chung Huang is also a composer, with two published compositions: Op. 1 After Debussy, sonatina for piano solo and Op. 2 Piano concerto in A major, both published in 2018.
