Vitaly Starikov was born in 1995. From 2002 till 2013 he was a pupil at the Ural Music College in Yekaterinburg, where he studied with S. Beloglazov. From 2013 till 2018 he went to the Moscow State Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky. From 2013 till 2015 he was a student of V. Gornostayeva, and then from 2015 till 2019 he studied with E. Virsaladze. In 2018 he graduated from the Conservatory. In September 2019 Starikov became a student at the Imola International Academy Foundation “Incontri con il Maestro”, and currently studies with B. Petrushansky. Since September 2020 Vitaly has also continued his studies in the Moscow State Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky as a graduate student with E. Virsaladze. He has performed in Russia, Austria, Slovakia, Israel, Cyprus, Italy, France, Belgium, Malaysia and other countries. His chamber partners have been musicians such as Y. Ha, L. Zhelezny, S. Gabrielli, R. Islyamov, O. Gusev, and R. Khamidullin, among others. Starikov has collaborated with many conductors, including H. Wolff, F. Braley, R. Calderon, D. Reiland, A. Titov, P. Nikiforov, A. Galanov, A. Kantorov, and A. Vasilyev. He has also participated in the masterclasses of D. Bashkirov and D. Alexeev.
