Evgenii Evgrafov was born in Moscow, Russia in 2002. His first performance on a public stage with an orchestra was at the age of seven. Evgrafov is currently a 3rd-year student at the Moscow State Conservatory P. I. Tchaikovsky. He has performed with numerous orchestras and various conductors. Evgrafov has performed solo and chamber concerts in China, Greece, Italy, Israel, Palestine, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, and Ukraine. He has participated in many competitions, and in 2022 was awarded the Mikhail Glinka Medal for his contribution to the development of musical art. Evgrafov is also the author of over 250 piano works, including 18 three-part piano sonatas, Romantic Concertino for Piano and String Orchestra, two preludes & fugues, bagatelles, and other pieces. On April 8, 2017, Evgrafov performed his first piano recital consisting of only own works, in the Scriabin Museum in Moscow. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of Scriabin’s birth, Evgrafov performed in a series of concerts, performing all of Scriabin’s piano pieces. The cycle of seven concerts named The Mysterious Call took place in Moscow from September to October 2021.
