Press conference at the performances of Bolšoj Theatre and the closing of the Ljubljana Festival 2009
At a press conference on August 24 in Križanke four performances of Bolšoj Theatre were presented. The renowned theatre came to Ljubljana with opera Eugene Onegin. The first performance will take place in Cankarjev dom tonight and the last will take place on Thursday. Deputy general director of Bolšoj - Mr. Getman, soloist - Jekaterina Ščerbačenko, director - Dmitrij Černjakov and conductor - Aleksander Vedernikov spoke about the opera. Darko Brlek, general and artistic director of The Ljubljana Festivala presented a report at the closing of the festival 2009. Festival began on July 6 and will end on August 27. Before the end of the festival 73 events will be performed, this events attracted more than 70.000 visitors. The costs of the festival will be around 2.300.000 EUR.
