The Devil's Courtyard
Possibly the most picturesque setting in the Križanke complex, the Devil's Courtyard, was designed by Plečnik to serve as a venue for small chamber performances. There is a net of lights, built into the ceiling, giving an impression of a starry sky. Plečnik took this element from his own repertoire as he had already decorated the Prague Castle with such a net of lights. The Devil's Courtyard now hosts chamber concerts and small theatre productions.
