Exhibition on the 100th anniversary of the birth of composer Marijan Lipovšek
The exhibition will be open until 19 April 2010
Hours: Monday-Friday 9.00 am – 6.00 pm, Saturday 9.00 am – 2.00 pm
The exhibition will be focused on the musical activities of the composer, pianist, organiser, teacher, translator, etc., whose 100th anniversary we celebrate in 2010. The exhibition will attempt to answer the question as to whether composer Marijan Lipovšek was a visionary in Slovenian culture. If he was, what is the value of his work today, how was he valued in the past and what significance could he have in the future? The exhibition was organised in cooperation with the National and University Library of Slovenia and the Ljubljana Festival.
